What is the Pride GoGo Compact mobility scooter?

 

The Pride GoGo Compact is a 4-wheel folding mobility scooter with a lithium battery. It’s made by Robooter (it’s the Robooter Q40 model) and distributed exclusively in the UK by Pride Mobility.

Advantages of the Pride GoGo Compact:

 

  • Off-board Charging: You get both on-board and off-charging as standard with the Pride GoGo Carbon. With the Drive AeroCarbon, you have to buy an optional charging dock to charge off-board.
  • Storage Capacity: the Pride GoGo Compact has an extra large under-seat storage basket, which can be easily removed or collapsed for transport.
  • Control Options: with app control and cruise control mode, the Pride GoGo Compact has more flexible controls than the Drive AeroCarbon.
  • Cheaper: the Pride GoGo Compact is around £500 cheaper than the Drive AeroCarbon.
  • Angle Adjustable Tiller: there’s an angle-adjustable tiller on the Pride GoGo Compact, thanks to an easy to use gas strut. The Drive AeroCarbon’s tiller can’t be adjusted in angle, although it can be adjusted in height.
  • Legroom: for taller users, there’s a lot more legroom on the Pride GoGo Compact compared to the Drive AeroCarbon.
