What training is required to use the TurnAid system?

The TurnAid Patient Turning system is designed to be intuitive and easy to use, but proper training is essential to ensure it is used safely, confidently, and to its full potential.

At Felgains, we place strong emphasis on hands-on training so caregivers and family members feel fully supported from day one.

Comprehensive training on installation day

On the day of installation, our standard process includes a comprehensive face-to-face training session. This is delivered by a trained specialist and is provided to all caregivers and any family members who will be using the TurnAid system.

During this session, we cover:

• Safe operation of the TurnAid system
• Correct positioning and use for common care tasks
• Best practice for reducing strain on caregivers
• How to support comfort and dignity for the individual being cared for
• Routine checks and basic care of the system

The training is practical, interactive, and tailored to the specific care environment and needs of the user.

Follow-up training and ongoing support

We understand that confidence grows over time. That is why we offer follow-up face-to-face training sessions if needed. These sessions are ideal if new caregivers join later or if existing users would benefit from a refresher.

For simpler questions or quick reassurance, our team can also provide support over the phone, helping users resolve issues promptly without delay.

Online training videos for everyday guidance

In addition to in-person and phone support, we provide a library of TurnAid training videos on our YouTube channel. These videos offer clear, step-by-step guidance on using the TurnAid system for common care tasks and are a useful reference at any time.
