The Ottobock Juvo B5 & Juvo B6 electric wheelchairs have a modular design that offers almost boundless possibilities for assembling custom configurations for complex requirements.
An electric wheelchair for both indoor and outdoor use, the Otto Bock Juvo offers front-wheel, mid-wheel and rear-wheel drive, giving you the ability to choose between the specific driving characteristics and motor torques of three drive types across the two frame widths.
In cooperation with therapists and users, Ottobock pays special attention to ergonomics, offering improved support for and enhanced functions for all-day use. The B5/B6 models offer solutions aimed at regaining mobility quickly with the unique “Quick Mobile” concept. Excellent serviceability with an appealing design and colour concept complete the image.

Choose your drive type
Rear wheel drive: designed for outdoor use, it offers excellent directional stability and handles well at high speeds.
Mid-wheel drive: the most intuitive to drive with a very small turning radius for the best manoeuvrability. A unique torsion drive system gives you a smoother ride than many other centre wheel electric wheelchairs, with reduced rocking when going up kerbs and when stopping and starting.
Front wheel drive: a compact base with good climbing abilities. With a small turning radius and the ability to get closer to furniture, it can be a good indoor option.
Choose your seating
The Standard seating package comes in four sizes with an adaptable seat width and seat depth. It has a folding backrest tension adjustable back upholstery, flip-up armrests and choice of three leg support styles.
The Vario Adjust Seat (VAS) is highly adjustable to precisely match your body measurements even if your needs change. The Ergo-Joint back angle adjustment largely eliminates shear forces. The seat frame holds a variety of mounting options including lateral supports.
The Baxx Line ergonomic rigid backrests can be combined with VAS. Offering a high level of stability and sitting comfort, you can choose from two different heights and three contour levels for a perfect fit for you.
Compatible with both the Standard and VAS seating systems, the Contour Package offers ergonomically design seating cushions developed with physiotherapists and OTs. Available in a range of sizes and contours, they offer excellent lateral stability and optimal positioning of the pelvis.
You can even choose to have a Recaro seat on your Juvo electric wheelchair. Renowned in the automotive and motorsport industry, Recaro seats offer incredible driving comfort and sporty design.
User-friendly design
Vibration compensation recognises vibrations which occur e.g. when driving over cobblestones and automatically adjusts to the situation. You no longer have to reduce the speed of the powered wheelchair on a bumpy road.
Automatic speed reduction on curves means that the control device automatically lowers your speed as soon as it detects a steering motion. Program the parameters that are right for you.
The automatic circuit breaker turns the power off and back on – ideal for transport, storage or airline travel. It’s mounted on the front and is easy to reach.
With the B6 memory module, you’re always in the right tilt angle and you’re safe and comfortable whether travelling up or downhill.
The gyroscope module gives excellent driving stability and support for straight-line driving, eliminating tiresome driving corrections and enabling precise manoeuvring on various surfaces including slopes. Together with the TEN° control the gyroscope module comes as standard equipment with front-wheel drives.
The TEN° control gives you a modern 3.5 in colour display with an innovative rotary dial for fast speed adjustment and a soft hand pad to prevent fatigue. With an infrared and Bluetooth interface you can connect to external communication devices quickly and reliably. You can also choose the colour of its solid aluminium housing.
Anti-tipping wheels come as standard on all drive types. To maintain the climbing ability of the front-wheel drive Juvo, the flexible anti-tipping wheels fold back automatically as they touch the obstacle.
The 4-pole carbon brush technology motors come with an extended warranty.
