  The Freedom Chair A11 Mini Paediatric Folding Electric Wheelchair is a travel powerchair for kids who need portable mobility. With airline-friendly lithium batteries, the A11 can be folded in one easy movement, and taken on planes, coaches or transported in the boot of a car.

  Highly manoeuvrable, the Freedom Chair A11 is compact enough to be used indoors too and once folded, fits into most car boots and takes up very little space for storage.

  Designed to grow with the child, the Freedom A11 features adjustable arm rest expansion to increase seat width, foot plate height and length extension and adjustable backrest, armrest and seat height allowing continued use as they grow up. 

  • The Freedom Chair A11 Folding Kids Powerchair can be easily folded in just seconds into a compact trolley that can be wheeled around using the freewheel mode. The compact design makes it very easy to transport by car or plane and storage space needed inside an apartment or cruise ship cabin is minimal.
  • Bluetooth attendant controls allowing attendants to control the wheelchair via the Freedomchair app. The joystick can also be moved to the push bar, turning it into an attendant controlled powerchair depending on the needs and ability of the user. 
  • Airline approved lithium-ion batteries make it the perfect travel powerchair, with a battery test certificate available.
  • Use up to 2 rechargeable lithium-ion batteries to give yourself twice the power and range. Each battery has a range of up to 9 miles, so a total of 18 miles may be possible depending on terrain and user weight. An adaptor cable is included for more convenient off-board charging.
  • Steering with the joystick is very intuitive and can be left or right-handed.
  • 2x 250W brushless motors provide plenty of power, with electromagnetic brakes that automatically hold you on a hill as soon as the joystick is released.
  • Flip-up armrests and a flip-up footplate make it easy to transfer on and off the powerchair from the side and allow you to get closer to a desk or table.
  • There’s a convenient in-built USB charging port under the joystick and LED light that can be turned on to light your path ahead.
  • A handy under-seat bag and back storage compartment provide plenty of space for carrying personal items. A durable travel bag is also included.
  • 12.5in PU tyre rear drive wheels, with 8in shock-absorbing PU tyres to front. Anti-tippers with shock-absorbers and a calf guard are fitted as standard.
