Glenwood SEN School is a newbuild school recently built by Morgan Sindall. A £15.4 million project, funded by Essex County Council, the school is a specially designed education facility for young people aged 3-19 years with severe (and multiple) learning difficulties. The two-storey school has state-of-the-art facilities to support 210 children and young adults. Felgains were pleased to be selected to supply and install the 43 Robin Ceiling Hoist Systems throughout the newbuild. Most systems were room-coverage systems with room-to-room transfers to allow a seamless transfer into adjacent hygiene rooms. Working closely to a tight schedule, Felgains successfully delivered the project on time and enjoyed seeing the delight of the staff in using the purpose-made room-coverage hoist systems.
