Product Information

  • The LEJRELET wedge pressure relief cushion is modelled from an anatomical view of the thorax and pelvis, ensuring optimum support when it’s used. The length of the Wedge cushion is the same as the average length of an adult torso, providing complete support for the upper and/or lower body. The Wedge cushion can be used in behind the back to stabilise an individual in the side lying position. The angle of the Wedge cushion can also facilitate a 30 degree position for pressure relief. The stable position provided by the Wedge cushion makes care tasks – such as wound care and personal hygiene – much easier. The Wedge can also support the arms and legs in lateral positions. The LEJRELET Wedge is made with a core of polyurethane foam covered by a 20mm layer of viscoelastic memory foam. This gives the cushion the necessary firmness and support, whilst still providing flexibility and comfort for pressure relief.
