  The Quickie Helium is a high-performance rigid wheelchair to support the most active users in everyday life.  Minimalistic, ultra-lightweight and completely customisable, the Quickie Helium wheelchair delivers outstanding performance and head-turning style to complement your active lifestyle.

  Constructed from aerospace-grade aluminium using modern Carbotecture® and hydroforming technology to increase its strength, the frame tube is thinner, lighter and stronger than ever, producing an ultra-lightweight wheelchair (Quickie Helium weight from 6.8kg) that supports a maximum user weight of up to 125 kg.
  

  A new 92° frame angle (option) not only provides you with better positioning, but it also gives the Helium a sleeker, more active look and an even more compact frame.  With your legs positioned further back, you’ll have greater space at the front of your Helium for tighter turning circles – especially when taking advantage of the depth adjustment of the re-designed carbon footplate for a closer foot position. Plus, the shorter frame also makes the ultra-lightweight Helium more portable during stowage.

  The innovative Freestyle Back (option) enhances trunk stability and gives you a 360° range of upper body motion from your wheelchair. Providing you with greater access to the rear wheels, you’re able to maximise the efficiency of every push you make. Choose the carbon backrest shell to achieve the lightest possible weight or if you’re after additional style, select the aluminium shell that’s also available in the same colour as the wheelchair frame.

  • For the highest level of rigidity and the most efficient driving performance, the Helium Pro version features a welded frame with a fixed axle stem.  For the most minimalistic design, the backrest can also be welded.
  • Crash tested in accordance with ISO 7176-19, so you can use it as a transport seat in your vehicle.
