  The Sapphire is an air alternating pressure relieving mattress with 5 inches (125 mm) air cells and a 2 inches (50 mm) foam base, forming an in-use height of 7 inches (175 mm) to give the user extra comfort and pressure damage protection. Ventilated air cells create air flow that helps to reduce moisture, key to avoiding the development of pressure ulcers. Designed to replace your existing mattress, the Sapphire is quick and easy to set up, for minimum disruption and discomfort for the user. Once operational, air sensors and microcomputer regulators ensure the pressure is constantly tracked and analysed, allowing the mattress to maintain optimum pressure at all times, reducing the risk of pressure ulcers.
