The Pearl is an entry level overlay air alternating pressure relieving mattress, with 5 inch (125mm) air cells for effective prevention and treatment of patients at medium risk of developing a pressure ulcer, whether at home or in a nursing or care home environment. Designed to give the user the essentials for pressure care, helping to reduce the risk of pressure ulcers. With simple to use functionality, the Pearl mattress system can be quickly set up and operating at optimal pressure for a specific user with ease using the basic mattress pump. The Pearl air alternating pressure relieving mattress is an overlay mattress – simply place on top of your existing mattress for added comfort and pressure relief – this does not replace your existing mattress.
